The guest speaker at the December luncheon will be Shannon Shanks. Dr. Shanks has led the medical team at Community Health, a mobile integrated health care program serving Manatee County. Her work focuses on street medicine, addiction medicine, and providing comprehensive care to underserved populations. She will discuss the reduction of opioid caused deaths in Manatee County.

The cost of the luncheon is $25 payable by cash or check (made out to Manatee Democratic Club) at the door.
